UCD Boxing

Hi,

Anybody who is interested in travelling down to Cork to support our boxers is more than welcome to come. The only issue is that we can’t cover your expenses but it shouldn’t cost anything more than about €60. We will be staying at a hostel in Cork which will be fairly cheap. If you are also interesting coming down to fight in Cork please make sure that you attend training on Friday and speak to me or Nanette on Monday night at training. If there are extra boxers down at the competition you could be lucky and get a fight. If you do fight we can refund your expenses.

The competition is on from the 21st to the 23rd of November.

Don’t forget hoodies are €35 there are pictures of what it looks like in the photo section on the website.

Just to let everybody know hoodies are now available for anybody that wants to buy them. They are €35. They are dark navy and are really good quality. You can them with white or pink writing and with either a zip or without. I will put up a pic so everybody can see them. Just come down to training and you can sign up for them. We do need the money before we order them.

Hi,

In case you do not already know that Juniors has been moved on us from UCD down to Cork. This is more than a pain in the ass but that is what we have to deal with. What I need to know is whether you are interested in fighting and if so will you be available on the weekend of the 21-23 Nov.

If you want to fight you have to be coming down to training on a regular basis in the run up to the competition to give yourself the best chance possible to become part of the team and to win in the competition.

If you have any questions I can answer them at training or through this site.

Hi,

Just to let remind everybody that there will be no training next Monday because it is a Bank Holiday. Training next Wednesday, 29th, starts at 7pm in the Astra Hall. We will be showing footage from last year’s Juniors Competition in the Hall. It would be great if as many people as possible could make it. Training will start directly afterwards.
